Fraud Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the development and optimization of fraud strategies, the full-time remote Fraud Data Analyst will manage fraud prevention and detection efforts across various payment processes, utilizing SQL to analyze data and improve fraud controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud risk policies, strategies, and controls for onboarding and monitoring workflows
• Independently query data using SQL to identify fraud patterns, validate hypotheses, and evaluate strategy performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate operational feedback into fraud strategy improvements

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in fraud strategy, fraud analytics, or related fields
• Mandatory SQL experience for data querying and hypothesis validation
• Exposure to data science, statistics, and analytical methods relevant to fraud decisioning
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders in fraud operations, risk analytics, or payment operations
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
