Job Summary
Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time remote Fraud Data Analyst will identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions using SQL and various fraud detection tools while contributing to the protection of the company and its customers.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor transactions and customer accounts to identify and investigate suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Utilize fraud detection tools to identify emerging fraud trends and conduct in-depth investigations into suspected fraudulent activities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify anomalies and develop fraud prevention strategies and controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Analytics)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in fraud detection, prevention, or investigation
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with SQL and Python
- Understanding of common fraud typologies (e.g., account takeover, identity theft)
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools
