Job Summary
To enhance customer security, the full-time Fraud Investigator will focus on investigating account takeover (ATO) incidents and third-party fraud, managing high-risk cases remotely while providing empathetic support to customers during critical recovery events.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex investigations into suspected ATO incidents, determining risk and recovery strategies
- Serve as the primary coordinator for high-impact ATO cases, collaborating with various teams including Fraud, Customer Support, and Leadership
- Communicate directly with customers during sensitive incidents, offering timely and empathetic guidance throughout the investigation process
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience investigating ATO fraud incidents in a financial services environment
- Deep expertise in account takeover methodologies, authentication systems, and identity verification
- Experience identifying common bank fraud typologies such as wire fraud and identity theft
- Exceptional customer-facing communication skills with a track record of managing high-impact incidents
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple critical investigations simultaneously
