Fraud Investigator IV

Job Summary

To enhance fraud detection capabilities for a government customer, the full-time remote Fraud Investigator IV will adjudicate flagged loans, implement quality control review procedures, and conduct thorough investigations using various documentation and databases.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate loans flagged for potential fraud and implement loan review procedures
• Conduct research using open-source methods and commercial databases to investigate fraud
• Assist with drafting responses to inquiries from government agencies and provide detailed reporting on investigative activities

Required qualifications

• At least 15 years of investigative experience in federal law enforcement focused on fraud and financial crime
• Minimum of 2 years investigating potential fraud within Covid pandemic relief programs
• Experience investigating fraud in federally underwritten loan programs
• Prior experience conducting forensic reviews of financial records
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
