Fraud Investigator - VA Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fraud Investigator (REMOTE in VA, NC, SC, MD ONLY).

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and document internal and external fraud events
• Review and approve Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) within regulatory guidelines
• Act as a liaison with law enforcement on financial crimes investigations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of banking, business, or criminal justice-related experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in fraud or financial crimes investigations
• Experience in delivering FinCEN SAR filings for fraud events
• Certification as a compliance professional (preferred)
