Fraud Operations Analyst

Job Summary

To support daily fraud monitoring and investigation functions, the full-time remote Fraud Operations Analyst will conduct complex investigations, analyze financial activities for potential fraud, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance anti-financial crime measures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying unusual financial activities and conduct thorough investigations to prevent fraud
• Perform data-driven analyses to detect vulnerabilities and improve transaction monitoring processes
• Coordinate with various teams to escalate cases and implement automated fraud detection solutions

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of fraud investigations experience in the financial services industry
• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information
• Experience with various fraud typologies such as Wire, ACH, and Identity Theft
• Ability to make sound, risk-based decisions with limited information
• Demonstrated curiosity and proactive approach to identifying patterns and emerging risks
