Fraud Risk Specialist

Job Summary

To support the growth of a leading prediction market, the full-time Fraud Risk Specialist will investigate multi-accounting, bonus abuse, and suspicious betting patterns, utilizing data analysis to ensure marketplace integrity, either remotely or from the NYC office.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze user behavior to identify fraudulent activities and risks
• Develop clear, evidence-backed cases to address suspicious accounts and activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud prevention systems and processes

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in fraud operations, trust & safety, or a similar investigative role
• Experience in fintech, gaming, marketplaces, or high-volume e-commerce is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL, Looker, or Tableau
• Strong investigative mindset with the ability to identify patterns or anomalies in user behavior
• Clear communication skills for explaining findings to non-technical team members
