Fraud Senior

Job Summary

To support the Single Family Acquisitions team, the full-time remote Fraud Senior will evaluate complex mortgage fraud claims, conduct comprehensive investigations into financial crimes, and develop processes for tracking and reporting fraud activities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate intricate claims of mortgage fraud related to loan origination, processing, underwriting, and servicing
• Execute timely examinations focused on mortgage fraud and money laundering, addressing discrepancies between allegations and facts
• Analyze investigative progress, reassess priorities, and identify patterns within mortgage fraud referrals

Required qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of experience filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
• 5 - 7 years of experience in the mortgage or housing industry, such as underwriting or servicing
• Experience with financial crimes investigations
• Solid understanding of risk management and controls
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of management, including executive leadership
