Fraud Strategy Lead

Job Summary

As a key member of the Trust & Safety department, the full-time remote Fraud Strategy Lead will develop and execute fraud risk strategies to mitigate fraud losses, enhance fraud prevention processes, and improve customer experiences across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze fraud vectors to develop strategies for identifying fraudulent activities and improving user experiences
• Own the fraud rule lifecycle, including strategy design, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fraud mitigation strategies that balance risk reduction and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in developing risk rules, strategies, and policies related to fraud prevention
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar tools for data evaluation
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive high-impact solutions independently
• Experience with fraud prevention rule management systems and customer verification technologies
• Demonstrated ability to present complex findings to senior leaders and executives effectively
