Freelance 2D Background Artist
Job Summary
To support a growing animation team, the Freelance 2D Background Artist will work remotely on a contracted basis, responsible for finalizing environments and background props while meeting daily production quotas.
Key responsibilities
- Finalize environments and background props for use in production
- Maintain an organized workflow and meet daily quotas of approximately 25 environments per week
- Complete revisions by deadlines set by management
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
- Ability to adapt to a variety of artistic styles
- Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color theory, light, and form
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a team
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work is required
