Job Summary

Seeking a talented Freelance 2D Line Artist to create polished line art for characters, props, and environments in a remote contract position, collaborating closely with the Art Director and Color Artists to ensure visual consistency and fidelity to artistic intent.

Key responsibilities

• Create clean, polished line art based on thumbnails provided by the Art Director
• Maintain precise proportions and visual consistency across all illustrations using existing model sheets
• Prepare organized files for a seamless transition to the coloring phase while implementing feedback from the Art Director

Required qualifications

• Exceptional drawing and construction skills for characters, props, and environments
• Proven ability to follow defined visual styles and transform rough sketches into finished artwork
• Solid understanding of perspective and comfort using 3D blocking for environment layouts
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
