Freelance 2D Motion Designer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with the editorial and production teams, the Freelance 2D Motion Designer will create high-quality 2D animations and edit visual content, working remotely on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conceive and produce engaging 2D animations
• Edit and stylize image and video material
• Ensure each production maintains a unique visual signature

Required qualifications

• Professional proficiency in After Effects; experience with Cavalry is a plus
• Strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Demonstrated experience in 2D animation, preferably in documentary filmmaking
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results under pressure
• Basic knowledge of German and English
