Freelance Competitive Programming Expert

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced AI coding models, a part-time Freelance Competitive Programming Expert will create algorithmic problems, write solutions in C++ and Python, and design test cases while working remotely on a project-based basis.

Key responsibilities

• Write original algorithmic problem statements and intended solutions, ensuring sound constraints
• Create both correct and deliberately incorrect solutions to test against, along with comprehensive test cases
• Confirm quality by ensuring correct solutions pass and incorrect ones fail within specified time limits

Required qualifications

• Strong competitive programming background evidenced by a public profile or notable achievements in competitions like IOI or ICPC
• Proficiency in C++ (including STL and complexity) and comfort with Python
• Ability to explain errors in solutions and create inputs that expose flaws
• Strong written English skills, at least at a C1 level
• Experience in setting or testing problems for contests is a plus
