Freelance Data Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contracted basis, the Freelance Data Specialist will reverse-engineer the WellSky platform's schema, create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and develop automated SQL queries and Python scripts for reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Dive into the WellSky platform's schema to identify keys and relationships among data entities
• Create detailed Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and a functional Data Dictionary for internal use
• Develop advanced SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with complex SQL queries and Python scripting
• Prior experience with healthcare data, particularly EHR, EMR, or case management platforms
• Proven ability to reverse-engineer relational databases and map schemas
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of data compliance and best practices for handling sensitive information
