Freelance Email System Designer

Job Summary

Leading the development of a high-impact visual design system, the part-time Freelance Email System Designer will architect a modular, accessible email component library and create comprehensive documentation for a direct-to-consumer fundraising platform, working remotely on a contract basis through April 2027.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect a modular, accessible email component library in Figma for lifecycle marketing journeys
• Standardize desktop and mobile layouts to enhance visual consistency and engagement
• Author design system guidelines to facilitate production handoffs with external agency partners

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of specialized digital design experience focused on lifecycle, CRM, and email marketing
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma with a history of building reusable, responsive component systems
• Experience designing within established brand guidelines while meeting responsive and accessibility standards
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional CRM stakeholders and external marketing agencies
