Freelance Foreign Language Contributor

Job Summary

To support diverse language-learning projects, the Freelance Foreign Language Contributor will create, edit, translate, or proofread language content remotely on a contract basis, utilizing various software tools and collaborating with team members.

Key responsibilities

• Create original language-learning content and design leveled courses for learners
• Edit and proofread translations for accuracy, flow, and consistency
• .Translate and localize text for specific target markets and software applications

Required qualifications

• Experience teaching or working with the target language, preferably at the university level
• 1-2 years of experience in editing, proofreading, or translating language materials
• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Office products
• Ability to learn new software applications and tools as needed
