Freelance Geopolitical Analyst

Job Summary

Evaluating AI-generated predictions about real-world events, the freelance Geopolitical and Event Forecasting Expert will work approximately 15 hours per week in a remote capacity, focusing on assessing the accuracy of forecasts related to elections, central bank decisions, and policy announcements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy and quality of AI-generated event forecasts using a provided rubric
• Analyze predictions related to geopolitical risks and macroeconomic events
• Provide insights based on probabilistic forecasting methodologies and prediction markets

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of recent experience in political analysis, macroeconomics, or policy research
• Experience in producing or evaluating probabilistic forecasts
• Familiarity with prediction markets or superforecasting methodologies
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
