Freelance Golf Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Working part-time on a freelance basis, the Golf Social Media Coordinator will manage day-to-day content planning and distribution for Versant Sports' social platforms, focusing primarily on golf coverage during non-traditional hours, typically Thursday through Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee live coverage of golf events and manage daily content for social media platforms
• Collaborate with digital video producers to identify and clip key content from live events in real time
• Pitch innovative content ideas to enhance audience engagement and video views

Required qualifications

• BA or BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience producing and distributing content for digital and social media platforms
• Proficiency in major social media platforms and familiarity with social and project management tools
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to edit basic videos for social distribution
• Extensive knowledge of sports, especially golf, and a strong understanding of digital trends
