Freelance Graphic Designer

Job Summary

To support a premier national public health association, the part-time Freelance Graphic Designer will manage multiple Adobe InDesign projects, ensuring high-quality design standards for publications while collaborating with internal teams remotely for approximately three months.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage publication and page layout projects from concept through final production using Adobe InDesign
• Develop original illustrations and web assets while adhering to brand guidelines and visual quality standards
• Lead internal consultation meetings to gather requirements, present drafts, and incorporate feedback from program leaders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design principles and multi-page layout composition
• Advanced interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and feedback integration
• Solid writing, proofreading, and copyediting skills preferred, with experience in developing written materials
