Freelance Graphic Designer

Job Summary

To support a premier national public health association, the part-time Freelance Graphic Designer will manage multiple Adobe InDesign projects, ensuring high-quality design standards across various publications while working remotely for approximately three months.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage publication and page layout projects from concept to final production, creating sophisticated layouts for multi-page publications, case studies, and research reports
• Develop original illustrations and visual assets while adhering to branding and visual quality control guidelines
• Lead internal consultation meetings with program leaders to gather requirements, present drafts, and incorporate feedback

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design principles, multi-page layout composition, and brand adherence
• Advanced interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication of design concepts
• Solid writing, proofreading, and copyediting skills with experience in developing creative or technical materials
