Job Summary

Working remotely as a Freelance Content Writer, the independent contractor will create engaging, curriculum-aligned educational materials focused on the primary History English National Curriculum, specifically covering The Windrush Experience, while managing a set allocation of 13 deliverables over a fixed 5-week period.

Key responsibilities

• Create content related to The Windrush generation, including presentations, posters, and activity sheets for primary education
• Execute high-quality educational content writing that aligns with the 2014 National Curriculum and follows provided style guides
• Independently manage schedule and delivery timeline to ensure completion of all assigned resources by the project deadline

Required qualifications

• A formal English primary teacher qualification (e.g., BEd, PGCE)
• Proven teaching experience in primary History or leadership roles
• Permanently reside in the UK with unrestricted right to work
• Access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection
• Familiarity with standard word processing software
