Freelance Insights Director

Job Summary

Working remotely as a freelance contractor, the Insights Director will lead the development of insights and storytelling, manage data analysis and reporting phases, and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality project solutions on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of insights and storytelling while executing data analysis and reporting for projects
• Collaborate closely with Escalent staff across Insights, Project Management, and Sales & Strategic Growth roles
• Utilize a variety of research methodologies and tools to deliver client-ready materials on time

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the industry
• Highly skilled in analytics and research methodology, including survey design
• Proficient in reporting, data visualization, and presentation tools like PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong storytelling abilities and experience in consultative writing for reports and client communications
