Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Japanese Sports Marketing MTPE Linguist with a focus on soccer and baseball.

Key Responsibilities

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia content, primarily in sports
• Conduct linguistic reviews and copy-editing for accuracy
• Perform Localization QA testing for published content on live platforms

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA with 2+ years of experience in linguistics, journalism, or media content
• Strong knowledge of sports culture and terminology, particularly MLS/soccer
• Native-level fluency in Japanese and fluency in English
• Proficiency in technology and familiarity with iOS/MacOS systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
