Job Summary

Seeking a Freelance Lead Packaging Designer on a contract basis, this remote role will manage the creative execution of packaging design projects for consumer packaged goods, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop impactful, consumer-centric packaging that aligns with brand strategy and business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and guide the creative execution of packaging design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consumer insights
• Conceptualize and develop packaging design solutions for new product launches and promotional initiatives
• Prepare and review production-ready packaging artwork while ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
• 5-7 years of professional packaging design experience in a fast-paced CPG, agency, or studio environment
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of Adobe AI tools preferred
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design and consumer-centered design solutions
• Professional-level understanding of visual category norms for nutrition, health, and food packaging
