Job Summary

To support legal translation needs, the remote Freelance Legal Translator will translate documents from Spanish to English (US/GB), ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology.

Key responsibilities

• Translate legal documents from Spanish to English (US/GB) with a focus on accuracy and legal terminology
• Utilize CAT tools, specifically memoQ, to enhance translation efficiency and consistency
• Collaborate with clients to understand specific translation requirements and deadlines

Required qualifications

• Degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, or equivalent degree with significant translation training
• Degree in any other field with two years of full-time professional translation experience
• Five years of full-time professional translation experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience with CAT tools, particularly memoQ
