Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time freelance basis, the Freelance Machine Learning Engineer will design computational STEM problems, create Python programming challenges, and ensure problems require advanced reasoning and verification using standard libraries.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational STEM problems that simulate real scientific workflows
• Create and verify Python programming challenges that require non-trivial reasoning and are computationally intensive
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on machine learning experience with proven business impact
• Expert Python programming skills for data science, including libraries like Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis
• Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows
