Freelance Medical Writer

Job Summary

To support its West Coast team, an experienced Freelance Medical Writer will develop scientifically accurate medical content for pharmaceutical and biotech clients while working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Develop evidence-based medical content and interpret clinical studies and scientific literature
• Write and edit various materials, including promotional content, scientific manuscripts, and training materials
• Collaborate with account, strategy, creative, and medical teams while incorporating MLR feedback

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, DNP, MSN, PA, NP, or similar life sciences degree)
• Prior experience in a Medical Communications or Healthcare Promotional Agency
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and healthcare communications
• Experience writing for healthcare professionals (HCP) preferred
• Familiarity with MLR review processes is highly preferred
