Job Summary

To support a project focused on evaluating AI-generated weather forecasts, experienced Freelance Meteorology Experts will work remotely for approximately 15 hours per week, assessing weather events and analyzing climate data.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated weather and climate analysis for accuracy and reliability
• Verify weather events against historical records, including storms and precipitation patterns
• Analyze the impact of weather events on systems such as energy demand and agriculture

Required qualifications

• Background in meteorology, atmospheric science, climate science, or environmental science
• Familiarity with US city-level weather data including temperature, humidity, and precipitation
• Understanding of how weather events affect downstream systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively in English
