Freelance Non-Profit CRM Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time contract basis, the Freelance Non-Profit CRM Specialist will lead strategy, optimization, and execution across donor engagement channels for a non-profit client, focusing on innovative email and SMS strategies to enhance donor experience and fundraising performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advisory and thought leadership to enhance CRM-driven fundraising initiatives across email and SMS channels
• Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies to improve donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation
• Leverage Salesforce to manage, segment, and analyze donor data for highly personalized and targeted communications

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in CRM, customer strategy, loyalty, and lifecycle/retention marketing
• Proven experience working within the non-profit sector, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and donor behavior
• Deep expertise in Salesforce, including segmentation, reporting, and campaign management
• Demonstrated success developing and executing email and SMS marketing strategies at scale
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies
