Job Summary

Offering a part-time freelance opportunity, the Freelance Optical Engineer will design computational physics problems requiring Python programming, ensuring they are computationally intensive and based on real research challenges, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that simulate real research workflows
• Create problems requiring Python programming for solutions, utilizing libraries such as Numpy and SciPy
• Document problem statements clearly and verify solutions using Python with standard physics simulation libraries

Required qualifications

• Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation, with familiarity in libraries such as Numpy and SciPy
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
• Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem design in physics
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
