Job Summary
To support innovative AI projects, a part-time Freelance Optical Engineer will design computational physics problems requiring Python programming, ensuring they reflect real research workflows and are computationally intensive.
Key responsibilities
- Design original computational physics problems that simulate real research workflows
- Create problems that require Python programming to solve, utilizing libraries such as Numpy and SciPy
- Document problem statements clearly and verify solutions using Python with standard physics simulation libraries
Required qualifications
- Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, or other programming languages is acceptable
- 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
- Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem design in physics
- Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
