Job Summary

To support innovative AI projects, a part-time Freelance Optical Engineer will design computational physics problems requiring Python programming, ensuring they reflect real research workflows and are computationally intensive.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that simulate real research workflows
• Create problems that require Python programming to solve, utilizing libraries such as Numpy and SciPy
• Document problem statements clearly and verify solutions using Python with standard physics simulation libraries

Required qualifications

• Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, or other programming languages is acceptable
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
• Experience with numerical simulation methods and problem design in physics
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+ level)
