Job Summary

A company is looking for Freelance Patent Linguists (Translation & Proofreading).

Key Responsibilities

• Translate patent documents from Portuguese to English and vice versa
• Proofread English and Brazilian Portuguese patent translations
• Collaborate on high-impact patent translation projects for technology brands

Required Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Portuguese or English
• University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field and/or Translation
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in patent translation or proofreading
• Excellent command of the counterpart language (English or Portuguese)
• Working proficiency in Trados Studio
