Freelance Production Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Production Artist to support intensive production needs for education publishing programs on a freelance basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and finalize multi-page documents and asset suites in Adobe InDesign
• Prepare and package print-ready and digital-ready files that meet vendor specifications
• Execute high-volume layout production for educational materials while preserving design fidelity

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level Production Artist experience (7+ years preferred) with a strong portfolio
• Expert-level Adobe InDesign skills and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong prepress and technical production fluency, including color management and print standards
• Proven ability to implement and optimize templates, libraries, and scalable workflows
• Solid understanding of accessibility-conscious file setup and experience with editorial workflow systems
