Key Responsibilities

• Shape media strategy by pitching themes and editorial calendars aligned with client goals
• Build media relationships by connecting with journalists, monitoring trends, and identifying coverage opportunities
• Pitch and secure coverage by drafting pitches, pitching story ideas, and booking interviews for editorial placements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of media relations experience; agency experience preferred
• Established network of Midwest regional travel and lifestyle media relationships
• Strong, creative writing skills in AP style
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Driver's license required; must be a U.S. citizen or have necessary approvals to work in the U.S
