Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, a Freelance Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability while utilizing various web scraping tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage internal tools (Apify, OpenRouter) alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience in web scraping, data extraction, and processing
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with web scraping tools such as Apify and OpenRouter
• Ability to enforce data quality standards through validation checks and systematic verification
• Experience in scaling scraping operations for large datasets using efficient batching or parallelization
• Strong understanding of handling dynamic and interactive web sources
