Job Summary

To drive specialized data scraping workflows for real-world applications, the part-time Freelance Python Data Engineer will manage end-to-end data extraction tasks remotely, utilizing tools such as Apify and OpenRouter to ensure accuracy and reliability in delivering structured datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and accurate delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and execution while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches for JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior

Required qualifications

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping, including dynamic content and APIs via proxies
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets)
• Upper-intermediate (B2) or above English proficiency is required
