Freelance Retail Production Designer

Job Summary

Seeking an immediate-start Freelance Retail Production Designer, the part-time remote position will focus on developing end cap concept mock-ups and retail visualizations for a short-term project in Oceanside, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end cap concept mock-ups and create merchandising layouts featuring gift sets and individual products
• Design cohesive shelf presentations with unified color storytelling across brands
• Produce creative concept renders and prepare final deliverables in PDF format

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of end cap layouts, merchandising flow, and retail presentation
• Experience designing for Target retail environments is strongly preferred
• Ability to work within fast turnaround timelines (6-12 hour response capability preferred)
• Experience sketching and visualizing products in retail display format
• Must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
