Freelance Scientific Director

Job Summary

To support the development of medical education content in Oncology, the Freelance Scientific Director will remotely oversee the planning, development, and execution of scientific materials while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to provide strategic medical communication recommendations
• Independently lead content development activities and manage writing tasks
• Liaise with in-house and freelance staff to conduct research, data-checking, and reference annotation

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in science is required
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in promotional medical education and/or medical affairs content
• Experience with established professional medical editorial processes and ethical guidelines
• Preferred experience with solid and/or hematologic cancers
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
