Freelance Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Technical Writer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop instructional content, including Quick Start Guides, in collaboration with Visual Designers
• Manage the creation and accuracy of compliance and safety documentation within product packaging
• Author detailed online owner's guides that explain product functionality for end users

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX or Technical Writing
• Background in Consumer Electronics/CPG with a strong portfolio of B2C content
• Experience with InDesign (Required) and familiarity with MadCap Flare and Smartsheet (Preferred)
• Strong commitment to accuracy regarding complex product features and compliance documentation
• Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and adapt to changing production schedules
