Job Summary

To support a dynamic content strategy, the Freelance Snapchat Editor will create and curate engaging content for Complex's Snapchat platform, manage community interactions, and develop innovative video ideas, working remotely on a part-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the voice of Complex Snapchat, ensuring audience-sensitive content framing
• Create and curate all content for the Complex Snapchat network while managing community engagement and moderation
• Ideate and produce original real-time content, leveraging trends and viral moments to enhance audience interaction

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand
• Extensive knowledge of pop culture and vertical video, with previous Snapchat publishing experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Premiere) and mobile editing software, particularly CapCut
• Experience with AI image generation and a strong understanding of Snapchat and social video
• Proven track record in driving audience engagement on social media platforms
