Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time freelance basis, the Freelance Travel Market Explorer will document payment experiences and cash-versus-digital dynamics in Vietnam and the Philippines while exploring local markets and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Document the payment experience while visiting cafes, night markets, and local vendors
• Test the PayMoji app by scanning local QR codes and report on transaction smoothness
• Observe and analyze the acceptance of digital payments versus cash in local markets

Required qualifications

• Deep understanding of the traveler or digital nomad experience
• Strong curiosity and ability to engage with locals and observe city dynamics
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage research tasks independently
• Experience in using digital payment methods in local contexts
• Familiarity with the cultural and economic landscape of Vietnam and the Philippines
