Freelance UX Design Director

Job Summary

Working remotely as a Freelance UX Design Director, the candidate will define design strategies and lead the creation of cohesive, human-centered experiences for clients, managing project engagements that include wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Craft user experiences in collaboration with product stakeholders to align with business goals and advocate for user-centered design best practices
• Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, interactions, and user flows
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions and implement enterprise-level design systems

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX Director or senior-level UX practitioner with a strong portfolio
• 8+ years of leading UI and UX design for enterprise-scale digital platforms
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and human-centered design
• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Digital Experience, Interaction Design, or a related field preferred
