Job Summary

Working remotely as a Freelance Video Editor, the candidate will edit long-form documentary content for fern, collaborating with the editorial and production team to enhance video quality and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit voice-overs for natural flow and craft high-quality video edits
• Research and source appropriate footage, applying color grading and sound design as needed
• Incorporate sources into the edit and optionally contribute original music composition

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Creative Cloud suite
• Strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Ability to work independently and reliably within a remote team
• Genuine passion for documentary and educational content
• Proficiency in German and English
