Freight Logistics Manager

Job Summary

To support operational excellence, the Freight Logistics Manager will oversee freight movements, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage commercial pilot implementations, either remotely or from Pittsburgh, PA.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations for pilot and test missions
• Establish standard operating procedures for freight disruptions and operational exceptions
• Oversee day-to-day freight movement for commercial pilot partners, ensuring delivery SLA adherence

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years in freight brokerage, carrier operations, or fleet management
• Deep knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT safety management controls
• Strong analytical skills with experience in transportation management systems (TMS)
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with enterprise-level clients
