Freight Pricing Analyst
Job Summary
The full-time remote Freight Pricing Analyst will develop, analyze, and maintain pricing structures for customer and carrier contracts, ensuring pricing accuracy and competitiveness while supporting negotiation strategies with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain contract rate structures for customer freight agreements, including base rates and fuel surcharges
- Analyze historical freight data and market trends to recommend competitive pricing
- Collaborate with Sales and Carrier Sourcing teams to build pricing proposals for RFPs and bid responses
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of experience in Dispatch, pricing, revenue management, or analytics within freight/logistics/3PL
- Strong Excel skills, with knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight market data sources
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations
