French Canadian Localization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Localization Specialist (French Canadian) to support the adaptation of eLearning courses for the Canadian workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize eLearning content from English to French Canadian, including instructional text and multimedia elements
• Adapt culturally sensitive material to align with French Canadian norms and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers and L&D leads to ensure content meets learning objectives and regional compliance

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in English and native-level French Canadian (written and spoken)
• 2+ years of experience in content localization, translation, or instructional design
• Experience with Articulate Rise 360 or other eLearning authoring tools
• Understanding of Canadian workplace regulations and cultural context
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies is a plus
