Freelance Machine Translation Post-Editors with French will perform light and full post-editing on machine translation outputs remotely, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post-editing tasks to ensure target text accurately reflects the source meaning
• Provide corrections and optimize text based on machine translation outputs while adhering to quality standards
• Utilize translation memory tools and guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy in terminology and formatting

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native French speaker with machine translation post-editing experience
• Preferred background in translation and proofreading within IT and software sectors
• Excellent command of English in both comprehension and writing
• Familiarity with translation memory tools and translation management systems
