French Remote Interpreter

Job Summary

Bridging language gaps, the contracted French Remote Consecutive Interpreter will provide interpretation services during phone calls and meetings, ensuring clear communication while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during various over-the-phone situations
• Listen attentively to the source language and convey messages accurately in the target language
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and comply with company protocols and industry best practices

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation (preferred)
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating or equivalent
• Completion of Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
