Front End AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale AI engineering initiative, the contract-to-hire Front End AI Engineer will develop high-performance React/TypeScript interfaces, integrate multi-step LLM workflows, and ensure seamless user experiences in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components for a mission-critical agentic AI platform
• Collaborate with AI/ML, backend, and cloud engineering teams to optimize front end performance and deliver new features
• Integrate AI agents and real-time data visualization into front end workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with production-grade LLM or ML system development
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, with experience in modern component patterns and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with AI agent development using orchestration frameworks like LangChain or similar
• Familiarity with Java in an enterprise or production environment
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
