Front End Engineer II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Front End Engineer II will develop mobile-first single page applications using Ember.js, provide support to the web development team, and contribute to the mentorship of junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mobile-first, single page apps using Ember.js and maintain JavaScript and legacy plugins
• Convert mockups and wireframes into clean, reusable components while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and assist in diagnosing bugs in the development environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in developing single page applications using a JavaScript framework such as Ember, Angular, or React
• Experience with mobile-first design and creating reusable components for multiple applications
• Proficiency in writing optimized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience in unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and source control using git or TFS
